About our founder – Elisabeth Thomas
Renewed Hope was founded by Elisabeth Thomas, an experienced social care practitioner with over ten years’ experience working within childcare and residential social care services.
Elisabeth has supported children and young people with a wide range of needs, including those who have experienced trauma, instability and disrupted family life. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with Local Authorities, families and multi-disciplinary professionals to promote safeguarding, stability and positive long-term outcomes.
She holds all relevant and up-to-date professional training and accreditations associated with residential childcare practice, including safeguarding, safety and risk management, and ongoing professional development in line with regulatory expectations.
Renewed Hope was established from Elisabeth’s strong belief that every child deserves a genuine opportunity for a fresh start. As a mother of five herself, she understands the importance of stability, encouragement, boundaries and feeling valued as part of a family environment.
Her vision is to create homes where young people feel safe, supported and respected – not simply cared for, but truly given the opportunity to rebuild confidence, develop life skills and move forward with hope.
